
Albany FireWolves Acquire Marshall Powless from Saskatchewan

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), have acquired Marshall Powless from the Saskatchewan Rush via trade in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2025 Entry Draft.
Powless, a forward, was one of the top draft prospects ahead of the 2020 Entry Draft before being selected with the seventh pick by the Rush. He appeared in 17 games with Saskatchewan in the past two seasons, compiling 32 total points on 10 goals and 22 assists. He had a spectacular 2019 in Jr. B, posting 151 total points, and then another 108 in the playoffs en route to the final of the Founders Cup. He then led the Six Nations Rivermen to the Presidents Cup Sr. B championship and posted 21 points in just seven games.
