ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils host the Syracuse Crunch Wednesday at Times Union Center for a 7 pm puck drop. Albany is coming off a 3-2 win Saturday at Binghamton. The Crunch are coming off a 3-1 loss at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

- THREE LINES OF INTEREST

Division Rivalry: The Syracuse Crunch currently stand in first place in the North Division and fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 19-10-2-5 record. The Devils hold a 22-15-1-1 record and are second in the North Division. Albany is in sixth in the Eastern Conference. So far this season, the Devils are 0-2-0-0 against the Crunch.

Lappin Returns: Nick Lappin returns to Albany after spending most of the season in New Jersey. He was called up on Oct. 28 and acquired seven points (4g-3a) in the 35 games played with the NHL club. He has played six games with Albany during the 2016-17 season, his last one being on Oct. 26 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. With Albany, he has three points (1g-2a).

First Point: During Saturday's matchup in Binghamton, Ty Loney earned the second assist on a Ben Sexton power play goal, marking his first point with the Devils. Loney signed a PTO with Albany on January 11 and previously was playing with Adirondack in the ECHL.
