
Alaska's Gutierrez Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Alaska forward Moises Gutierrez
has been suspended two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of
his actions in ECHL Game #54 against Idaho on Oct. 30.
Guitierrez was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for
interference at 9:50 of the first period.
He is suspended and fined under Rule 29 - Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Guitierrez will miss Alaska's games against Idaho (Oct. 31 and Nov. 1).
