Aiden McFadden Earns USL Championship Team of the Week Honors

Memphis, Tenn. - Memphis 901 FC defender Aiden McFadden earned USL Championship Team of the Week honors for Week 28 after his two-assist performance in the 4-2 victory on Saturday over Hartford Athletic.

The West Chester, Pennsylvania, native on loan from Atlanta United tallied in three shots and three chances created while making 11 defensive recoveries in his seventh start with the Beale Street Boys.

Winger Luiz Fernando was also named as a Team of the Week honorable mention with his Goal of the Week-nominated score that gave Memphis the decisive lead. Fernando has seven goals and three assists on the season.

Memphis sits at No. 5 in the Eastern Conference with their 12-8-9 record looking to secure their playoff spot with five matches remaining in the regular season.

901 FC hits the road to face rival Birmingham Legion FC on Wednesday, September 20 at 7 p.m. CT. A victory in Birmingham will clinch a postseason berth for Memphis for the third consecutive season.
