Connecticut's Kris Newbury ranks third in the AHL with 24 assists and is riding a six-game scoring streak (2-9-11), and rookie Mats Zuccarello has multiple points in three straight (3-3-6)... Jeremy Williams, who leads the Whale with 15 goals (15-9-24), has scored in three of his last four contests (3-0-3)... Houston continues its five-game road trip with its second visit of the season to Grand Rapids tonight... The Aeros, who collected a 5-0 win over the Griffins on Nov. 19, enter this tilt as winners of four of their last five (4-1-0-0) and with a record of 14-6-0-2 since a 2-5-1-0 start to the season... Robbie Earl has a point in all six games (4-4-8) since returning to Houston from a stint with parent-club Minnesota, and Earl paces the Aeros with eight goals and 17 points in just 20 games overall...
