
AHL Approves Sale of Falcons

Springfield, MA â The Springfield Falconsannounced today that the American Hockey League on Monday afternoon held a Board of Governors conference call and unanimously approved the sale of the Springfield Falcons to Springfield Pro Hockey, L.L.C.
Springfield Pro Hockey, L.L.C. is a local ownership group comprised of the Mass Mutual Financial Group, Joseph Cambi, Peter A. Picknelly, and Donald and Judith Bridge, Lyman Wood, and Bruce Landon.
The Springfield Falcons also announced three front office transactions. The Falcons have hired Dianne Leger as an Administrative Assistant and promoted Garrett Nolan to Director of Game Night Operations. The Falcons also announced that current Assistant General Manager, Bob Oliver, will serve as Alternate Governor.
The Falcons will open their 2002-03 season on Friday, October 11th when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack. Season Tickets for the upcoming season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Falcons Front Office at 413-739-3344.
