
After a Win in game 1, Eagles and Dutchman Make History Again in Game 2

The Golden Eagles needed two wins on Wednesday to make the playoffs and they got a 9-4 victory in game 1. Completing a game that was suspended after 4 innings back on July 7th, the Eagles won 9-4.
The Eagles and the Albany Dutchman went 16 innings back on June 29th as they matched that inning output Wednesday night at East Field.
The Dutchman got out to an early 3-0 lead with three runs in the third inning. They would tack on one more in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead. They tied it with a run in the eighth and won it on a Chis Suseck base hit in the top of the 16th.
The Golden Eagles scored two in the third inning on a Bryan Ramirez (UTPA) two run single. They then tied it at four in the 5th with a Buddy Putnam (South Florida) RBI triple and took the lead on a Braxton Martinez (Saint Louis) base hit. Martinez finished the game 7-7.
