Spokane Shock News Release
October 27, 2010 - Spokane, WA: The Arena Football League announced the 2011 schedule today. With an expanded 18-game schedule each team will play nine games at home and nine on the road.
The Shock will play each opponent in its division twice, five out of division games, and seven out of conference games. Each team gets two bye weeks; Spokane has a bye in week five and week 13.
The defending ArenaBowl Champion Spokane Shock will open the season on March 11th at San Jose against the SaberCats. The Shock first home game will be on March 19th as they host the Cleveland Gladiators. The Shock will host the Tampa Bay Storm on Friday, May 20th for a re-match of ArenaBowl XXIII. On Friday June 10th, the Shock will host ArenaBowl XXII Champion the Philadelphia Soul. For the second season in a row, Spokane will close out the regular season on the road at Jacksonville on July 23rd.
