AFL Announces NFL Network Broadcast Schedule

Spokane, WA: The Arena Football League announced today the 2011 broadcast schedule for the NFL Network's Game of the Week. For the second consecutive season, the NFL Network will broadcast one AFL Game of the Week starting March 11 th, 2011. All games selected for the Game of the Week will start at 5 PM PST.

In addition to broadcasting one game a week during the expanded 18-game regular season, the NFL Network will also broadcast three playoff games including the ArenaBowl XXIV on August 12, 2011.

The defending ArenaBowl XXIII Champion Spokane Shock are scheduled to appear in three games on the NFL Network: March 25 th (Spokane at Iowa), June 10 th (Philadelphia at Spokane), and July 22 nd (Spokane at Jacksonville). Spokane's June 10 th home game was originally scheduled to kick-off at 8 PM but will be moved to 5 PM to accommodate the NFL Network's broadcast.

*This broadcast is Saturday night due to the NFL Draft schedule.

The Shock will open the 2011 season at San Jose on March 11 th and will return to Spokane the following week (March 19 th ) for their home opener on Spokane Tribe Field.
