Blaze to Appear in Two Games on NFL Network

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze will be featured in two matchups on "Arena Football Friday" on the NFL Network. The first game is on the road versus the Iowa Barnstormers on Friday, May 27th, 2011. NFL Network will visit Salt Lake City for the first time to showcase the Blaze facing off against the Kansas City Command on Friday, June 24, 2011.
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to highlight the Blaze and our great fan base on a national network," said Blaze GM Steve Videtich. "This will be a great reward for our dedicated fans that have supported us through the years."
After expanding to an 18-game schedule and adding four teams, the Arena Football League will be aired on the NFL Network for the second consecutive season. NFL Network will broadcast more than 20 Arena Football League games on Friday nights.
"The announcers and crew did a great job last season bringing the exciting arena atmosphere and game to fans all over the country," Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz said, "and we look forward to another successful season on NFL Network."
The AFL's "Arena Football Friday" schedule on NFL Network features 23 games including 20 regular season contests. NFL Network will also showcase two playoff games and ArenaBowl XXIV on August 12, 2011.
