Toledo Mud Hens News Release
The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that all individual tickets for the 2004 season will not increase. Individual tickets remain at $8.00 and children and seniors get in for just $6.00.
The Mud Hens completed their second season at Fifth Third Field in September. The 2003 attendance of 517,331 ranked Toledo 12th among the 200-plus teams in Minor League Baseball. The Hens celebrated their one millionth fan on August 7, 2003. A Toledo record 547,204 fans flocked to Fifth Third Field in 2002, the ballpark Newsweek tabbed the best in all the Minor Leagues in August of 2002.
According to 2003 pricing, Triple-A ticket prices range from $7.00 to $16.00 for the most expensive seat. Toledo's top ticket of $8.00 ranks among the most affordable in Triple-A baseball.
Mud Hens General Manager Joe Napoli remarked, "Part of our mission statement is that we provide affordable family entertainment with the emphasis on affordable. We've evaluated all the things that go into pricing, and we've determined that we're priced fairly."
The Toledo Mud Hens will open the 2004 season on April 8 at 1:00 PM versus Durham at Fifth Third Field in Downtown Toledo.
