Aeros Return Ginand to Solar Bears

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that F Ryan Ginand has been returned to the team from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Houston Aeros. The Solar Bears host the South Carolina Stingrays (Boston Bruins) this weekend for a three game weekend homestand from February 15-17.

Ginand was loaned to the Aeros on February 9 and appeared in two games with Houston. The Milford, MA, native has played 24 games for Orlando this season, scoring six goals and adding 13 assists for 19 points. Ginand has recorded eight penalty minutes in five games for the Aeros this year, and in 13 career AHL games he has scored two goals and added six assists for eight points.

In a separate transaction, Orlando released D Nicholas Kuqali today.
