STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC midfielder Adrian Billhardt was named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week Seven after playing a pivotal role in South Georgia's 3-2 win on the road against North Carolina FC.
Tormenta FC added its third consecutive road win after fighting hard to keep the lead on Saturday night. Billhardt continues to be the man in form with a stellar performance against North Carolina FC. Billhardt recorded his first assist of the season, helping South Georgia obtain its third victory of the season after scoring his first professional goal two weeks ago against FC Tucson. Billhardt maintained 92% passing accuracy while on the pitch and started the play which led to South Georgia's first goal of the night.
Tormenta FC now heads home to host Central Valley Fuego FC on Saturday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Supporters can purchase tickets and VIP packages in advance on the club website.
