Admirals Ink Mueller and Van Guilder to AHL Contracts

Milwaukee, WI-The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the team has signed forwards Chris Mueller and Mark Van Guilder to American Hockey League contracts.

In his first year with the Admirals, Chris Mueller saw action in 67 games during the 2009-10 regular season contributing 27 points (13g-14a) to the cause. Mueller also added 5 points (3g-2a) in the Ad's grueling 7 game series against the Chicago Wolves. Chris has experienced success as he was third in goals with 16 on the 2007 National Champion Michigan State Spartans, in 42 games.

Mark Van Guilder helped the Admiral affiliate Cincinnati Cyclones capture the 2010 Kelly Cup by tallying 15 points (5g-10a) during the Cyclone's playoff run. All of Mark's contributions for the 2009-10 Admirals came by way of assist as he had 7 for the Ads in 28 games. This will be Van Guilder's third stint with the Admirals as Mark skated in 5 games in 2008 in addition to his 28 in 2010. Van Guilder spent 4 years playing hockey for the University of Notre Dame.

The Admirals will kick of the home portion of the 2010-11 campaign on Saturday, October 9. Season tickets for the 2010-11 Admirals season are on sale now for as little as $145.
