
Admirals Advance to Calder Cup Finals

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals have advanced to the 2012 Calder Cup Finals after winning their Eastern Conference Finals series in four games over the St. John's IceCaps.
The Admirals await the winner of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Barons and Toronto Marlies. Toronto leads that best-of-seven series, two games to one. Game 4 is tomorrow night from Toronto at 7:00 p.m. Game 5 is Friday in Toronto. If necessary, Game 6 and Game 7 will take place from Oklahoma City on Monday and Wednesday next week, respectively. Norfolk has never faced either team.
The Admirals will release a schedule and tickets will go on sale once their opponent has been determined. Norfolk will have home ice advantage in the Calder Cup Finals and will host Game 1, Game 2 and (if necessary) Game 6 and Game 7 at Norfolk Scope Arena. Season ticket holders should use the following tickets for the Calder Cup Finals:

Individual ticket prices for the Calder Cup Finals are $25.50 for Gold, $22.50 for Red and $20.50 for White. Fans receive a discount when purchasing playoff tickets in advance of the day of the game, with $22 tickets for Gold, $19 tickets for Red and $17 tickets for White. In addition, 10-seat corporate boxes are available for $350 per game by contacting the Admirals at (757) 640-1212.
The Admirals have earned the Richard F. Canning Trophy as Eastern Conference champions. Established in 1990, the AHL's Eastern Conference championship trophy honors Richard F. Canning, who served the AHL for more than 50 years during his career, including a term as league president from 1958-61. Mr. Canning is recognized as the author of the AHL's constitution, by-laws and regulations.
