Adam Chase Ropes a Double to Send Stallions to 2-1 Walk off Victory

A walk-off double from Adam Chace brought home the winning run for the Saugerties Stallions (3-0) in a 2-1 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers (1-3) at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field on Saturday.

Alex Thrower did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Saugerties Stallions, reaching base three times. He singled in the first innings.

The Adirondack Trail Blazers' lineup had no answer for Andrew Workman. Workman held the Adirondack Trail Blazers hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five.

Mitchell Boyer was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Saugerties Stallions batters and allowing one run.

Mike Davis recorded his first win of the year for the Saugerties Stallions. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Donald Goodson (0-1) took the loss for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
