Action-Packed Aces Homestand Begins Thursday

RENO, Nev. - Beginning Thursday night, Aces Ballpark will open another exciting eight-game homestand, with a pair of fireworks shows, a cap giveaway, free ice cream and more on-deck.

The homestand launches with a Coors Light Thursday Night, as the Aces begin a four-game set with the New Orleans Zephyrs, Triple-A Affiliate of the Florida Marlins. Drink specials are available from an hour before first pitch until the top of the fifth inning and fans can gain admission into the Coors Light Party Zone with a general admission ticket.

Friday night's game will feature a special aerial entrance into the ballpark for the Aces beloved mascot Archie, as REMSA will be on-hand for a special pre-game proclamation. Stick around after the game for an amazing Silver Legacy/Eldorado fireworks exhibition, presented by KOLO 8.

Saturday is an Aces Saturday, presented by KRNV 4. The first 2,500 fans through the turnstiles will receive a free Supercuts weathered cap, and the Supercuts Spikers will be on the plaza outside Aces Ballpark frosting fans' hair Aces blue.

The weekend comes to a close with a Fox 11 Family Sunday, where fans will receive free ice cream samples provided by Tahoe Creamery. Tasters will have the chance to vote for their favorite flavor to become the ballclub's official "Ace Cream."

On Monday, the Oklahoma City RedHawks, Triple-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, come to town to kick-off a four-game series. The Aces will celebrate Memorial Day with a special post-game fireworks show, presented by KTVN 2.

The homestand comes to a close with back-to-back Education Days on Wednesday and Thursday. The Aces will play at 11:35 a.m. each day, as the club welcomes in area school children.
