Reno Aces News Release
RENO, Nev. - As part of a continuing effort to be a premier option for affordable family entertainment, the Reno Aces will not raise prices for season and single-game tickets in the 2010 season, the club announced today.
On the heels of a successful inaugural season in Reno, the Aces will maintain the same ticket prices for season and single-game sales. Season ticket plans will once again start at just $576 for the 72-game slate, while individual-game tickets will be available for as low as $7 ($6 for children, seniors and members of the military).
Also today, the Aces released times for all 72 home games. The much-anticipated April 8 opener vs. the Fresno Grizzlies game will begin at 6:05 p.m., and the first Aces homestand will include a pair of 1:05 p.m. games. The return of July 4 at Aces Ballpark will be met with a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
In all, the Aces home slate includes 17 day games. The bulk of the home schedule features 6:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. start times.
The Aces' 72-game home schedule again includes regional rivals Sacramento and Fresno, as well as eight games at Aces Ballpark versus the Las Vegas 51s in the resumption of the ever-popular Silver State Diamond Challenge. Additionally, Aces Ballpark will play host to the Omaha Royals, Iowa Cubs, Nashville Sounds and Memphis Redbirds for the first time in 2010.
The Aces' 2010 promotional schedule will be released in the coming months, with fireworks, giveaways and appearances once again on-deck.
In 2009, Aces Ballpark drew 466,606 fans, an average of 6,481 fans per game. In their inaugural season, the Aces finished the 2009 season with the third-best record in the Pacific Coast League at 79-64. A total of 25 Aces appeared in the Major Leagues last season, and seven players made their Major League debut.
