Brooklyn Aces News Release

On Sunday January 25, Play-It-Again-Sports in Carle Place and the Brooklyn Aces are teaming up with the Children's Sports Connection to hold a sports equipment drive. All fans are encouraged to donate new or gently-used sports equipment to benefit the Children's Sports Connection (CSC). The CSC is a non-profit organization. They are a group of volunteers who strive to make a difference in the lives of children, by providing financial assistance to children from homes in the midst of a family crisis. CSC gives grants to children to cover community league registrations, equipment, lessons, and other related costs of participation. The Children's Sports Connection also strives to set the groundwork for these children to become responsible, dedicated, healthful, and well-rounded adults.

Sunday is also Youth-Hockey Day for the Aces. Any youth hockey player that wears their jersey to the game will receive a discounted ticket price. There will also be a skills competition between periods featuring local youth players.

The Aces will be playing against the Danbury Mad Hatters at the Aviator Arena in Brooklyn at 2:00pm. For tickets call 718-977-5930 ext. 8105 or visit www.BrooklynAces.com.
