
Aces Sign Rookie Forward Slater Doggett

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces, three time Kelly Cup champions, have signed rookie free agent forward Slater Doggett, it was announced by Aces head coach Rob Murray.
Doggett, 20, will join the Aces in time for Friday's road game against the Stockton Thunder, beginning 6:30 p.m. (KFQD/ECHL.TV) at Stockton Arena. Doggett will wear #21.
The 6-foot, 190 pound forward previously completed his third year of major junior experience with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League, earning career-highs in goals (25), assists (26), and points (51) in 57 games. He led the Spitfires in goals and was second in scoring, skating for head coach and former NHL defenseman Bob Boughner.
Doggett collected 93 points (35g-58a) and 136 penalty minutes in 182 career OHL games with Windsor and Kingston.
The Aces are the official ECHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild of the NHL.
