ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - The Alaska Aces fired 50 shots on the Rapid City net, but Adam Morrison stood tall, knocking away all but one as the Rush held off the Aces 2-1 Friday night at the Sullivan Arena.

The Rush scored first in the opening period, as Sam Rothstein potted his first career goal at 11:45 off helpers from Mark Cooper and Hunter Fejes.
The Aces tied the game at 14:59, as Mackenze Stewart drove home a low blast stick-side on Morrison. It was Stewart's 5th goal of the season...Tim Coffman and Charlie Sampair getting assists.
Shots after one favored Alaska 23-7.
The game winning goal came at 16:37 of the second period as Rothstein struck again from Cooper and Geoff Fortman.
