Aces Host Farm to Field Night

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Aces and Levy Restaurants are teaming up with three local farmers to present "Farm to Field" night on Monday, July 30 at Aces Ballpark.

Three local chefs, Billy Deaver, Roberto Martinez and David Powell, will team up with three local farmers, Hidden Valley Honey, Lattin Farms and Peri & Sons, to create fresh, delectable dishes from locally-grown food. Beer and wine will be provided by Great Basin Brewery, Mammoth Brewing Company, and Tahoe Ridge Winery.

"The event will showcase Nevada's locally-grown organic products in a fun event at the ballpark," said Deaver, Executive Chef for Levy Restaurants.

Seating for the event begins at 6:05 p.m. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., as the Aces take on the Sacramento River Cats.

Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit and raise awareness for local farmers and the Community Co-op.
