Aces Get out in the Community to Kick off Season

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces invite you to take part in two special team activities this weekend!

Tomorrow (Saturday, October 3) the Aces will be participating in the 5th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on the Delaney Park strip downtown Anchorage. The entire training camp roster, coaching staff and Boomer will be walking the 3 mile course as celebrity guests.

Making Strides is coordinated by the American Cancer Society, and the Aces will be donating 10% of every pink hoodie sold at the event.

Then, join us Sunday, October 4 at the Dimond Center in south Anchorage for the first "Skate with the Aces" from 1-3pm. It's $5 admission at the door for your chance to get autographs, photos and an opportunity to chat with Aces players and staff.

You'll also have a chance to get a goodie-bag filled 2015-16 Alaska Aces season schedule tote!

The Dimond Center is promoting cancer awareness as local cancer groups provide information about cancer prevention, treatment and support.

Training camp is now underway! Don't forget that tickets for exhibition games against the Missouri Mavericks are on sale now! Stop by the Alaska Aces office at 724 East 15th Avenue between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday, or the Sullivan Arena box office to secure yours!

Exhibition games October 12-13 are general admission at $15...season-ticket holders $10.

The 2015-16 regular-season opener is Friday, October 16. Season and group tickets are on sale now...and single-game tickets are on sale now.
