Aces Change Game Time

The Aces have moved the start of the season's final home game back to the regular Sunday start time. The August 17th game against the Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks will now start at 6:05 p.m. It is Fan Appreciation Night and fans can receive a one dollar discount on tickets by bringing a church bulletin to the ticket office.

The final Aces home series of 2003 starts Friday, August 15, against the Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks.

The first 500 fans through the gates Friday night will receive a 2003 set of Aces baseball cards. Complimentary tickets to the game can be picked up at KVVP radio in Leesville as part of Vernon Parish Night. Reduced-price beverages will also be available courtesy Louisiana Fountain Supply.

Saturday the Aces will give away several bicycles throughout the game and it is Military Appreciation Night.

The Central Baseball League plays a 96-game schedule between May and August 2003.

The 10-member league has teams located in Amarillo, Edinburg, Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen), San Angelo, Robstown and Ft. Worth, Texas; Alexandria and Shreveport, La.; Springfield/Ozark, Mo.; and Jackson, Miss.
