
Aces add to Exhibition Slate

Preparing for their 10th anniversary season, the Alexandria Aces have added a two-game exhibition series with the Shreveport Sports to their schedule. The Aces already have a two-game pre-season series scheduled with the Jackson Senators.
The Sports will play the Alexandria at Bringhurst Field Monday, May 5, before the Aces wrap up the exhibition season Tuesday, May 6, with a noon game in Shreveport.
Both of the Aces home exhibition games will now start at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 with a dollar from every ticket sold going to charity.
Tickets for the exhibition games as well as season tickets and Bonus Books can be purchased at the Aces office located next to Bringhurst Field or by calling (318) 473-2237.
The Central Baseball League, preparing for its 10th season of independent baseball, will play a 96-game schedule between May and August 2003.
The 10-member league has teams located in Amarillo, Edinburg, Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen), San Angelo, Robstown and Ft. Worth, Texas; Alexandria and Shreveport, La.; Springfield/Ozark, Mo.; and Jackson, Miss.
