Aces Acquire Forward Joe Perry from Quad City

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces have sent the rights to forward Olivier Archambault to the Quad City Mallards in exchange for the rights to forward Joe Perry.

Head coach Rob Murray made the announcement Tuesday.

The 26 year old Perry, a native of Nanaimo, BC, Canada, began his professional career in 2014 with Quad City of the CHL following a 4-year college career at Division 3 powerhouse St. Norbert's. The 6' 2", 215 pound right wing played 6 games with the Iowa Wild of the AHL before returning to the Mallards of the ECHL for the remainder of last season. Perry scored 26 goals and added 17 assists for 43 points in 54 games. In 7 playoff games, he scored 1 goal and assisted on 2 others and was a plus 3.

"Joe is a skilled, scoring forward with grit and great all-around game," said Murray.

Archambault's rights head to Quad City after scoring 20 goals, 18 assists and 38 points in 38 games last season with the Aces. He also spent time with Iowa of the AHL, playing in 24 games. He scored 4 goals and added 5 assists for 9 points for the Wild.

Exhibition games October 12-13 are general admission at $15...season-ticket holders $10.

The 2015-16 regular-season opener is Friday, October 16. Season and group tickets are on sale now...single-game tickets will go on sale October 1.
