Weekend Recap
Your Aberdeen Wings once again traveled up North to Minot to take on the Minotauros this past Friday evening. This game the Wings found themselves on the losing side of things, falling to Minot 4-2. Aberdeen was able to get on top early getting the only goal of the first period off the stick of Erik Baskin with the assists going to Kyle Haak and Tanner Holmquist. The 2nd period was all Minot. They were able to put 3 goals past goaltender Jared Stearns who kept the Wings in the game making 24 saves on 27 shots in the game. Kyle Haak was able to get the Wings back in the game in the 3rd scoring a goal with the assists going to Kyle Kruenegel and Michael Prochno. This was the only game this past weekend for the Wings, giving the boys a much needed Saturday off to rest and prepare for upcoming home weekend series vs. the Austin Bruins.

The Pete Sauer Coach's Show will be this Monday and every Monday throughout the season live from Max & Erma's. Player guests this week will be Patrick Steinhauser and Erik Baskin.

We will be having our first Skate With the Wings after Friday nights game. Bring your skates to the rink and skate with the players for a half hour after the game. After Saturday nights game Max and Ermas will be hosting a post game party. Stop down and talk with players, coaches and other Wings fans.
Upcoming Games
The Wings 4-7-0 play host the division leading Austin Bruins 8-2-1 Friday and Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center. The Wings are 0-2 so far this season, this will be the first trip to Aberdeen for the Bruins.
