
ABA and Pit Bulls to host VIP VMA party

Miami, FL. Former Miami Heat All-Star point guard Tim Hardaway, together with his new ABA team, the Florida Pitbulls and the ABA League, will host a private VIP VMA Party aboard the First Lady, Sunday August 28th. Tim will serve as host to his celebrity friends and sports stars as he entertains aboard the luxury 120 yacht with live entertainment by Proof (of D12), Kieran and Monte Rosa. The yacht will depart from the Eden Roc Marina on South Beach and set sail to the MTV VMA Show at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
This is the first official introduction of ABA Entertainment being directed by Angela Rizzi. Ms. Rizzi is currently in the process of launching a national music tour and reality show entitled "Starz in Motion" which will feature top name artists in post-game and free-standing concerts throughout the ABA league. According to Ms. Rizzi, "ABA entertainment should be as exciting as ABA basketball and give fans the best entertainment and sports value in the world - professional music and sports at affordable prices - an unbeatable combination."
The ABA has grown into the US largest professional sports league in a span of two years with 50 teams competing in the 2005-2006 season. The ABA has attracted former NBA players, NBA draft picks, Division I & 2 players as well as quality international players. Ricardo Richardson, ABA Executive Vice President, who will be representing the ABA at the Miami event, added: "We know the quality of basketball and the ABA game itself is outstanding. The Florida Pit Bulls will begin their inaugural season at the Office Depot Center in Sunrise, Florida on November 5th. In addition to the fast-paced action on the court, fans will be able to enjoy a live concert following each game, featuring top-name artists. For the price - no doubt - it will be the best sports and entertainment value in South Florida.
