Grand Rapids Rampage News Release

The Grand Rapids Rampage has announced that offensive specialist Aaron Bailey and lineman Mike Lawson have been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least two weeks. Both were injured in the third quarter of the team's 47-31 loss in Nashville to the Kats and both were sent to Nashville's Baptist Hospital for precautionary measures.

Lawson injured his groin on the opening kickoff of the third quarter. On the Rampage's first offensive series of the second half, Bailey was knocked into the boards head first and left the game with neck pain.

In addition to Lawson and Bailey's injuries, Teto Simpson (calf) will likely miss this Sunday's game against Colorado. Colin Bryant (hip) and Johnnie Harris (groin) also missed time in the Kats loss, but are expected to play this week.

Anthony Hines will fill Bailey's spot at OS and Kenny Solomon will become the team's starting WR/LB.

Grand Rapids continues its three-game road trip this Sunday, March 5 when it visits the defending ArenaBowl champion Colorado Crush. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. and can be heard live on WBFX 101.3 FM with Joe Parson calling all the action.

All Rampage home games are played at Centennial Wireless Field at Van Andel Arena. Tickets are available through StarTicketsPLUS (1.800.585.3737), all Michigan Meijer locations, at The Zone (located on the west side of Van Andel Arena) or by clicking here.

Rampage games can be heard live on WBFX 101.3 FM - The Fox in the Grand Rapids area and online worldwide at 1013thefoxrocks.com. Tune in on WOOD-TV channel 8 (NBC) in the Grand Rapids area all season long for the Rampage's drive to ArenaBowl XX.
