Overview: Aaliyah Wilson was the 11th pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2021 WNBA Draft. Later in the evening, Wilson was traded to Indiana in exchange for forward Kennedy Burke. After sustaining a foot injury in training camp causing her to miss the first 13 games of the season, Wilson rounded out her rookie campaign appearing in 14 games for the Fever. The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 1.1 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists in first season in Indiana. Wilson also received attention off the court during the Olympic break as she was honored on July 17 in her hometown of Muskogee, Oklahoma for "Aaliyah Wilson Day". In front of approximately 300 family, friends, former teammates, classmates, coaches and fans along with Mayor Marlon Coleman, Wilson was presented with a key to the city.

Notable Achievements/Performances:

July 9: During the longest winning streak of the regular season for the Fever, Wilson scored a career-high four points in 19 minutes to defeat New York at home in front of one of the most active Fever crowds of the year.

August 20: With the Fever only able to suit up seven active players for a road game at Dallas, Wilson came off the bench to distribute three assists in the win against the Wings.

September 4: At Phoenix, Wilson pulled down a career-high four rebounds against the Mercury. Wilson was one of five Fever players that night to secure at least four boards.
