The Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame is organizing their first ever call to the hall. The inaugural class of the new Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame is set to be inducted in July of 2012, but potential inductees are still needed. Do you know of someone who is special to the hockey world and has Saskatchewan ties' This is your chance to get them recognized.
Nominations can be made in five categories:
Builder
Grassroots Contributor
Player
Official
Team
Nominations must be received at the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame by 5:00 pm on September 1st. For more information on the nomination processor or for the nomination forms visit www.saskhockeyhalloffame.com. Nominations can be made via email or fax, but hard copies will also need to be mailed to the induction selection committee.
The Hall of Fame is to be located in Swift Current in the recently upgraded I-Plex. The first ever nominees will also be introduced at a Saskatoon Blades game in January.
