Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
Nothing helped boost our team to an ABA Championship more than the incredible support we got from fans in both Barre and Burlington last season. As I put together this year's edition of the Frost Heaves, I want to urge you to do the closest thing possible to actually becoming one of our players, and that's to join my Roster Reserves.
Each member of the Frost Heaves' Roster Reserves will be assigned a unique roster number and recognized in our Yearbook. Each will also receive a certificate of recognition suitable for framing. And at each of our home games, one member will be chosen at random for an instant upgrade to watch that game, with a guest, from our VIP seats-the skybox in Barre or the stage in Burlington.
The cost is minimal: $15 for individuals or $25 for two or more members of the same household. To be included in the Yearbook we need to receive your application by October 17th. So don't delay: print, fill out, and return the form below. The sooner you reply, the higher your roster number!
The team and I look forward to welcoming you to the Aud and Memorial for our home openers-Thursday night, November 15, in Barre; and Sunday afternoon, November 18, in Burlington. And, you can meet the 2007-08 Frost Heaves at our Fan Fests, presented by Northfield Savings Bank, on Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4, at 1 p.m. in Barre and Burlington, respectively. There'll be contests, games, a blue-white scrimmage, and meet-and-greet and autograph opportunities-and kids 14-and-under are free!
For your support in the past and in the future, I want to share a personal thank you.
Sincerely,
Will Voigt
Head Coach
2007 ABA Champion Vermont Frost Heaves
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
