To our Indomitable fans -
Nine years ago, the story of Sacramento Republic FC began. In front of a sold out crowd of over 20,000 people, I stepped onto the pitch at Hughes Stadium - a special moment for me, my teammates, and of course, for this city.
It's not every day that you get to play in front of 20,000 fans, and we were fortunate to feel that passion and support for four games in 2014. And now, we get to do it again on August 26.
But we can't imagine this moment without you - our Indomitable Fans. Some of you might have been there when we first stepped on the pitch in 2014 and if you're like me, you remember the energy that spirit that can only be found right here in Sacramento. If you haven't been able to experience a match at Hughes - even if you haven't been to a Sac Republic game - this is a game you don't want to miss, a moment to come together to celebrate everything that this club and this community have been through over the past 10 seasons and where we will go together in the future.
Republic FC is a club that has been known to make history. From the Miracle at Bonney and winning the league title in our inaugural season, to last year's run to the Open Cup Final.
And now we have a chance to do it again with the biggest crowd this league has seen since 2018.
This club and this city are so special, and most people don't understand until they experience it. Well, it's time to experience it again at Hughes Stadium - and I can't wait to celebrate this special moment with you all.
