HarbourCats Introduce 'Cats Camps Presented by Kirby's Source for Sports

(Victoria, BC - May 17, 2013) General Manager Holly Jones is thrilled to announce that the Victoria HarbourCats have partnered with Kirby's Source for Sports for 'Cats Camps Presented by Kirby's Source for Sports. The HarbourCats have also partnered with Mr. Tubbs Ice Cream to provide camp shirts for camps throughout the summer. This summer-long series will feature instructional camps for players and coaches of all abilities from around Vancouver Island. All camps will be held at Royal Athletic Park, the HarbourCats' home field.
Our camps will enable players and coaches to hone their skills alongside HarbourCats players and elite-level coaches. Players will be able to learn everything from the fundamentals of the game at the younger ages to specific skills in pitching, hitting, base running and defensive skills at the older ages. Players will be able to gain insight into making it to the "next level" within the game of baseball. Coaches will have the opportunity to learn how to plan a practice, run drills, and become a more effective baseball coach in either a one-day or two-day format.
Camps are available for a variety of age groups as follows:
-Ages 7-10 $80 T-Shirt and Game Ticket included
-Ages 11-14 $80 T-Shirt and Game Ticket included
-Ages 15-18 (1 day) $65 T-Shirt Included
-Ages 15-18 (2 day) $100 T-Shirt and Game Ticket included
Note: Camps for the 7-10 and 11-14 age group are available with an early bird discount and special Kids Club pricing.
The 'Cats Camps will be available for convenient, online purchase through harbourcats.com. Camps can also be purchased at the HarbourCats office, located at 103-1814 Vancouver Street or at Royal Athletic Park on game days. Information on the Camps will also be available at recreation centers and schools around Victoria.
