Inland Empire 66ers News Release
San Bernardino, CA - The Inland Empire 66ers are proud to announce that they have renewed their Player Development Contact (PDC) with the Los Angeles Dodgers for two more years. Inland Empire became the Dodgers' Class "A" advanced affiliate prior to the 2007 season after leaving the Florida State League and their Vero Beach affiliate.
The Dodgers were affiliated with San Bernardino from 1995-2000. At that time the team was known as the San Bernardino Spirit and later the San Bernardino Stampede. During those six seasons, San Bernardino won three California League titles ('95, '99, '00).
Dodgers have four players currently on their roster from the 2007 Inland Empire squad. They include infielder Blake DeWitt and pitchers Ramon Troncoso, Cory Wade and James McDonald.
