
66ers Fall to Vipers in Game 1

TULSA, OK - Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb scored 29 points with eight rebounds, but the Tulsa 66ers fell to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, 107-92, in Game 1 of the NBA D-League Semifinals on Friday night at the SpiritBank Event Center.
Fellow assignee DeAndre Liggins posted 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Oklahoma City forward Perry Jones collected 10 points and five assists.
Rasual Butler, who was named the 2013 NBA D-League Impact Player of the Year earlier Friday, had 12 points and eight rebounds. Tony Taylor scored 12 points and pulled down three boards.
"We've already been in this situation, where our back is against the wall," said Tulsa Head Coach Darko Rajakovic. "This is the playoffs and every game is a test of character. We're looking forward to the second game."
The 66ers pulled down 39 rebounds and forced 17 Vipers turnovers.
Rio Grande Valley was led by D.J. Kennedy with 19 points.
The best-of-three series now shifts to State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas, with Game 2 on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. If a third game is necessary, it will be played Tuesday night at 7. Both games will air live on YouTube.
