Tulsa 66ers News Release
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 13, 2013 - Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Jeremy Lamb scored 22 points with five rebounds and three assists, but the Tulsa 66ers fell to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, 110-108, Wednesday night at the Toyota Sports Center.
Oklahoma City center Daniel Orton posted 14 points and seven boards and fellow assignee DeAndre Liggins collected six points, four rebounds and two assists.
Trailing 105-89 with 4:30 to play in the fourth, Tulsa (22-17) fought back and ended the game on a 19-5 run, but the late surge wasn't enough to top Los Angeles (19-20).
Five 66ers scored 12 or more points behind Rasual Butler's 24 points. Andy Rautins shot 4-for-7 from behind the 3-point line en route to 17 points.
Chris Quinn recorded 12 points while dishing out eight assists.
Both teams shot 50 percent or better from the field with Tulsa going 41-for-82 (.500) and Los Angeles shooting 39-for-76 (.513). The 66ers outrebounded LA 40-39.
The 66ers continue their four-game road trip when they head to Boise, Idaho for a pair of games against the Idaho Stampede on Friday and Saturday nights. Both games will air live on YouTube and Tulsa66ers.com.
