Daytona Beach Thunder News Release
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - It'll definitely pay to go to Saturday's Daytona Beach Thunder indoor football game if there are 4,499 other people there with you.
Once again, Thunder Owner/CEO Zack McDonald has committed to stroking a personal check for $1,000, this time if a crowd of 4,500 is in the Ocean Center to see the Thunder (3-4) battle the Chattahoochee Valley Vipers (4-3) in a American Indoor Football League game with serious playoff implications.
"We need everyone, plain and simple," McDonald said. "It's our first Saturday home game and I want to see as many people there as possible. We need a win-win situation."
City and county employees, as well as faculty, staff and students at all Volusia County schools, including public, private and college, all get in for $5, as do employees of the Halifax Medical Group .
