3000 Kids Play Hooky for Baseball

Edmonton, AB - Home Run Hooky will be hosted by the Edmonton Capitals at 11:00am on June 10th. 3000 elementary and Jr. High school kids will be playing hooky from class and spending their day at TELUS field watching the Caps take on the Yuma Scorpions.

The day will be filled with educational fun. Students will be tested with Edmonton trivia, scavenger hunts, score keeping, math and music lessons, and physical education exercises, all with a baseball twist.

More than 60 Edmonton businesses purchased tickets for the school kids to be able to come out and enjoy a Capitals game.

This is a scheduled regular season game and Executive Suite, Club Seat and season seat holders are welcome to join the fun. Retail seats start at just $9 and can be purchased at the Capitals new box office at TELUS Field, at any Ticketmaster location, on-line at capsbaseball.ca or by calling (780) 414-GOAL (4625).
