2021 HFX Wanderers Kit: Community Edition Revealed

Halifax, N.S. - HFX Wanderers, the Canadian Premier League and official league technical provider, Macron, a leader in the international teamwear market, have officially unveiled the Wanderers custom-designed playing kit for the 2021 season.

The Macron 2021 kits will make their debut on June 26 when The Kickoff Presented by Volkswagen will commence with the League's 2021 first two matches. The Wanderers will kick-off their first match at 6PM AT against Pacific FC, a rivalry referred to as the Coast-to-Coast Clash. This year the kits provide a nod of acknowledgement and gratitude to the community where each club plays. Each jersey features a unique graphic, symbol, image, or icon that represents their home.

"We're thrilled to welcome back Volkswagen as our kit sponsor in 2021," shares Wanderers Director of Business Development David Finlayson. "They've shown their commitment to the Canadian Premier League and we're excited to have a great working relationship with our local dealership, O'Regan's."

Inspired by the Flag of Nova Scotia, that features a Lion Rampant crest in the centre. HFX's 2021 Macron jersey features a sublimated Lion Rampant on the front that symbolizes strength, courage, and leadership - like the unique individuals who call Nova Scotia home. The predominantly Aqua Ocean Blue top features the classic Harbour Sky and white colours throughout. The club's slogan, "Together X From Aways" is boldly centred on the jersey's back.

"The team at Macron did a great job of taking our concept to 'bring the Nova Scotian flag to life' and implement it into our 2021 Kit design," remarks Wanderers Brand Manager, Dylan Lawrence. "I especially love the details on the front of the kit - the crosses from Nova Scotia's flag unite to create the Lion Rampant, a beautiful outline that embodies the heart and energy of this community. It's a good reminder, through the challenges we all encounter daily, that we are truly stronger together."

Fans can get their hands on one of these unique kits for $119.99 CAD (Adult) and Youth $79.99 CAD. Fans will be able to customize each jersey with either their favourite CPL player or own names and number for an additional $34.99 CAD.

Another piece Wanderers fans can look forward to is a socially distanced drive through event at O'Regan's Volkswagen. The event will take place on June 19 from 4-6PM. Come in and say hi and get a picture with Wanderers mascot Rover.
