Daytona Tortugas News Release
DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Daytona Tourtgas' 2017 Florida State League schedule has been released. The 140-game slate begins on April 6th in Osceola and concludes in Daytona against Osceola on September 3rd.
The Tortugas begin the season with four games on the road against the newest member of the FSL, Osceola County. That kickstarts a seven-game road trip to open up the year, before the first home game on April 13th against Fort Myers. That begins an 11-game homestand for the Tortugas.
The Tortugas are home Memorial Day Weekend against Tampa, and on July 4th against Clearwater. The schedule includes nine Thirsty Thursdays and 12 Saturday Fireworks shows.
The St. Lucie Mets will be in town from April 21-23 and again from June 19-21.
The 2017 FSL All-Star Break takes place in Lakeland from June 16-18. The Tortugas then kick off the second half of the season in Clearwater on June 22nd.
