2016 American Association All-Star Game at CHS Field to be Televised on FOX Sports North Plus

ST. PAUL, MN - The best and brightest of the American Association will bring their talents to CHS Field on Tuesday, August 2nd for the league's All-Star Game presented by CHS. Fans from all over the region will be able to tune is as the game will betelevised live on FOX Sports North Plus.

For the first time in the events history the game will be carried by a regional cable network and can be seen through all major cable distributors throughout the Midwest. Fans in the Twin Cities can watch on Comcast on channel 963 (HD) and 254 (SD), Charter Communications on 827 (HD) or 227 (SD) and Mediacom on channel 22 in various Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa areas. Satellite subscribers can watch on DirectTV 668-2 and DISH channel 9514 (HD), 444 (SD) and 412-32 (Hopper). Saints broadcaster Sean Aronson will provide the play-by-play and will be joined in the booth by former Boston Red Sox pitcher Dana Kiecker. Corbu Stathes, the voice for the University of Minnesota women's basketball on radio and the halftime and postgame host for Gophers football, will serve as sideline reporter.

Aronson is in his 10th season as the voice of the Saints and was nominated for a Regional Emmy for Saints TV broadcasts in 2010 and was chosen as the second best broadcaster in all of Minor League Baseball in 2011 by BallparkDigest.com. Aronson has been broadcasting minor league baseball for 16 years and was with the Allentown Ambassadors from 2001-02 before joining the Twins Single-A affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle, from 2003-06.

CTN Studios, based out of Coon Rapids, will produce the telecast and has been producing Saints games for 10 seasons, including broadcasts on FSN and KSTC45. CTN is an Emmy Award winning network for both news and sports.

In addition to TV the American Association All-Star Game can be heard on radio on BOB FM, 106.1 FM in the Twin Cities, 107.5 in Rochester and 105.5 in St. Cloud. J.W. Cox, in his third season with the Saints, and Garrett Greene, in his first season with the Saints, will provide the play-by-play. Cox also does St. Cloud football and basketball as well as play-by-play on North Metro TV and Concordia-St. Paul basekatball. Greene is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and recently a commentator and producer at KMAC Sports. He also did play-by-play and was a producer at 104.9 The Horn.

The 2016 American Association All-Star game will take place on August 2 at 7:05 p.m. The Saints are hosting All-Star Monday beginning at 6:30 p.m. on August 1 with the iHeart Radio Celebrity Softball Game, Select Heartland Chevy Home Run Derby and musical acts.
