Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels are pleased to announce an event for the upcoming 2016 All-Star Game Festivities. The 2016 All-Star Game Fan Fest, presented by Rockwell Collins and Z102.9 will take place on Monday, June 20th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. The event is FREE to the public and will be held at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The following All-Star Game Fan Fest attractions are confirmed:
- Kernels Inflatable Kids Zone Games
- All-Star Player Autographs (10 players)
- Face painting by Kennedy
- Z102.9 Staff along with tailgate games, balloons, and music truck
- H & H Fun Rides Trackless Train
- Lifeguard Air Ambulance from Unity Point/St. Luke's Hospital
- KCRG First Alert Weather team and Mobile Weather Lab
- McGruff the Crime Dog and Cedar Rapids Police Department vehicles
- MWL Mascots including: Mr. Shucks, Stu from the South Bend Cubs, Roscoe from the Bowling Green Hot Rods and others.
- Area Ambulance
Tickets for the MWL All-Star Game, presented by GO Cedar Rapids, and all Kernels home games, may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at (319) 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.
