
2014 MLL Champion Outlaws to be Recognized During Broncos vs. 49ers Game

DENVER - The 2014 MLL Champion Denver Outlaws will be recognized during the Denver Broncos (3-1) game against the San Francisco 49ers (3-2) on Sunday, Oct. 19. The game will be broadcast on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
The Outlaws will partake in an on-field recognition highlighting the franchise's 2014 MLL Championship title during the first half of the Broncos game, and will have the Steinfeld Trophy on-site.
Denver topped the Rochester Rattlers by a 12-11 count in a thrilling come-from-behind victory capped off by a six-goal fourth-quarter performance on Aug. 23, 2014. The victory marked the franchise's first MLL Championship. It was Denver's fifth MLL Championship appearance nine years as a franchise-the Outlaws are the only MLL franchise to make the playoffs in each year of existence.
The majority of the 2014 Champion Outlaws will be in Denver for the recognition and will partake in the Sixth Annual Colorado Lacrosse Showcase, a scrimmage against the University of Denver men's lacrosse team on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

Following the scrimmage on Saturday, the Outlaws will host two clinics with instruction from current Denver Outlaws players, with both clinics occurring simultaneously from 4-5 p.m. on the turf at Peter Barton Stadium.
