2013 WHL Championship Series Live on SHAW

CALGARY, AB - WHL Commissioner Ron Robison and SHAW Communications announced today that all games during the 2013 WHL Championship Series between the Kal Tire WHL Western Conference Champion Portland Winterhawks and the Husky WHL Eastern Conference Champion Edmonton Oil Kings will be televised live on
SHAW TV, SHAW HD Channel 303, and SHAW Direct "ÃËChannel 299, throughout Western Canada.
During the WHL Championship series the WHL on SHAW will feature the play-by-play of Dan Russell, colour from Bill Wilms, with Peter Loubardias serving up analysis. SHAW's WHL Central and host Andy Neal will continue to provide exclusive features, news and highlights throughout the Championship Series.
The WHL is also pleased to announce that SHAW TV will broadcast a special presentation of the 2013 WHL Awards prior to game ONE of the 2013 WHL Championship Series on Friday, May 3rd at 7:00 pm MT. The program will feature footage from the WHL Awards Luncheon and exclusive one-on-one interviews with each award winner.

The WHL and the City of Saskatoon, SK will serve as the official hosts for the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup. The Saskatoon Blades will host the WHL Champions, Ontario Hockey League Champions and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Champions from May 17 - 26, 2013.
