
2013 Game Day Employment Interview Dates Set

Wisconsin Rapids, WI-Tuesday, April 2nd. Have you ever dreamed of working for a sports team? Are you an energetic person with a positive attitude, great work ethic, and enjoy working with people? If so, then a summer job working with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters may be right for you!
The Rafters front office announced today that they will host two different open interview dates at Witter Field later this month. The first open interview session will be held on Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. until noon. The second session will be held on Wednesday, April 24th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Interviews will be held in the Rafthouse Team Shop and applicants will be interviewed on a first-come, first served basis. The interviews will be brief but will allow the Rafters staff to meet with all interested parties in person and discuss available game day positions around the ballpark.
All employees of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will receive a unique opportunity to experience working in a sports setting. The Rafters will play 35 home games throughout the summer, with the possibility of additional games being played if the Rafters enter the playoffs. Employees will be expected to always demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service as a member of the Rafters staff.
Each job has its own start and end time and the game day staff will typically begin working roughly two hours prior to each game commencing. Games can last anywhere from 2 ý to 3 ý hours and there is always the possibility of extra events arising during the summer in addition to the regularly scheduled games as well. Shifts can range anywhere from 1 ý hours up to 5 hours on game days.

Applications may be returned to the Rafters office or brought to the ballpark for the interview sessions on April 20th or April 24th.
The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are members of the 16-team summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate League in North America. In 2013 the Northwoods League will celebrate its 20th season. Opening Day at historic Witter Field is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th at 7:05 pm against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
