2012 Spring Training & Exhibition Schedule Set

EL PASO- The Diablos are back in town! Spring training is underway for the 2012 Diablos season, which lasts from May 6-May 16. The Diablos will be playing a total of three exhibition games against the Pecos League All-Stars May 9th, 12th, and 13th at Cohen Stadium. May 9th is a free admission game, with open seating! May 12th and 13th are $5 admission, and all open seating. Don't miss the opportunity to get a preview of the 2012 Diablos for a great price.

Once again, the team will be taking daily batting practice and are available for media interviews. After long days on the field, the Diablos will be going on spring training appearances at restaurants around town to meet fans and promote the season. Join them at the locations around El Paso listed below to eat, take photographs, and get autographs.

Join the Diablos coaching staff, players, and front office staff for our 2012 Media Day on Wednesday, May 16 at Cacique, an authentic NATIVE American Restaurant & Steak House only at Socorro Entertainment Center (11200 Santos Sanchez) at 12:00 p.m. Media interviews to follow a short introduction by the coaching and management staff.

The Diablos 2012 regular season starts May 17th. The new schedule boasts 9 Fridays, 9 Saturdays, and 8 Sundays. The Diablos will once again be hosting El Paso's biggest and most exciting fireworks show for Independence Day with a homestand spanning from July 3 to July 10. Mark your summer holiday calendars since the Diablos will be home for both Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26 & 28-30), and Labor Day weekend to finish the season right (August 31 - September 3).
