The Captains have made a return trip to the Midwest League Playoffs! The first round of play kicks off Tomorrow night at 7 pm with the Captains taking on the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Classic Park. Tomorrow's game is game #1 of a best-of-three series, with games #2 & #3 (if necessary) taking place in Bowling Green. The Captains sail into the playoffs playing some of the best baseball of the season with a record of 40-30. They've won five of their last six games including a three game sweep of the Hot Rods at Classic Park to clinch the second half championship. The Captains are in the Midwest League playoffs for the second time in their three years in the league and fourth time overall including their seven years in the South Atlantic League. The Captains were the Midwest League Champions in 2010.
