2011 Coastal Plain League Petitt Cup Playoffs Set

The 2011 Coastal Plain League regular season came to a close Tuesday night, marking the most successful season in CPL history.
In the end, only eight teams can move on into the 2011 CPL Petitt Cup Playoffs. Those eight are Edenton, Fayetteville, Thomasville, Forest City, Asheboro, Gastonia, Wilmington and Peninsula.
The 2011 Petitt Cup Playoffs begin Thursday, August 4 and run through Sunday, August 14. The match-ups are as follows:
No. 1 Edenton vs. No. 8 Peninsula
No. 2 Fayetteville vs. No. 7 Wilmington
No. 3 Thomasville vs. No. 6 Gastonia
No. 4 Forest City vs. No. 5 Asheboro
