Why go to an office when you can go to the ballpark? The Connecticut Defenders announced today they will host their 2009 Job Fair next Saturday, March 21 at Dodd Stadium from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
"We have a great group of people here and we are looking for additional people who are focused on providing excellent customer service for our fans," said Defenders General Manger Charlie Dowd.
Interested candidates looking to work at Dodd Stadium for the fast approaching 2009 season will have an opportunity to choose from numerous jobs. The Defenders are looking for Cashiers, Bartenders, Cooks, Ushers, Parking Attendants, Warehouse Workers, Skybox Wait Staff, Money Room Assistant, Box Office and Game-day Staff. Front Office Staff will be on hand to conduct interviews as well as answer any questions prospective employees might have.
The Defenders home opener is scheduled for April 16 at 6:35pm against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees). The 2009 season marks the 15th season Norwich has had a Double-A franchise and the seventh season as a Giants affiliate.
